Maya Chan Beach Resort is located in Mahahual, Quintana Roo, Mexico you won’t want to miss this true gem of a resort. Cruise ship passengers can easily get to this resort if their ship has a Port of Call in Costa Maya, Mexico. They will provide transportation both directions. It’s included. You will need to book in advance. This amazing place books FAST. Once you book your cruise reservation it is a good idea to go ahead and book your day at the beach.
Maya Chan Beach is hard to describe in the best of ways. I’m dating myself, but it has the most wonderfully funky Gilligan’s Island beach vibe, and none of the other beaches we have been to, and we have been to many, have this vibe. The number of reservations they take is limited, so you never feel at all like it is crowded. It feels private, and you feel pampered. The staff know exactly when and when not to come around. You won’t want of anything, because they make sure you have what you need. We have been here twice, and honestly, any time we have this Port of Call on an itinerary we will return. We went once for a vow renewal, and the another time with our entire family.
